La Forza Scholarship Program

Team sports like soccer are a wonderful opportunity for our young people to grow in many areas.  Not only will they gain athletic abilities and skills, they will build self confidence, start developing lifelong fitness habits, learn how to work with others as a team, and have a whole lot of fun!  We realize that even reasonable fees like La Forza's can be out of reach for some families, therefore we are now offering a scholarship program on a limited basis.

Scholarship requests must be received by the La Forza Soccer Club on or before August 1st. Scholarships will not be awarded until one week prior to the registration deadline. The scholarship committee will consider all complete applications received by the application deadline. The amount of the scholarship awarded (if any) may be a partial or up to 50% of La Forza fees depending on the number applicants, and amount of scholarship funds available. La Forza Soccer Club is a non-profit organization with a very limited amount of funding available for scholarship athletes. No guarantee of assistance is implied in this application.

Scholarship requirements for eligibility:

• This scholarship program provides assistance to youths from low income families or families who have experienced sudden financial hardships. This is an honor system, no pay stubs or any other financial information will be required.

• Commitment to attend scheduled practices and games.

• Participation by a family member/player for at least 5 hours of voluntary service to La Forza Soccer Club during the season. Volunteer work will be under the direction of the scholarship committee and will consist of field maintenance or assistance with fundraising activities.
